"10" Year Protection Plan
  1. This warranty begins on the date the home is delivered to the customers site.
  2. Shorten's Inc. warrants that for one full year the home supplied by Shorten's Inc., excluding the foundation will be free from ALL defects, not in compliance with applicable state codes.
  3. Shorten's Inc. warrants coverage for years two through ten on ALL MAJOR STRUCTURAL DEFECTS pertaining to the home supplied by Shorten's Inc., excluding the foundation.
  4. A major structural defect is defined as a structural failure occuring in one or more of the following:
Roof Trusses
Wall Studs
Floor Joists
Ceiling Joists
Headers over Windows & Doors

Shorten's Inc. must receive written notice of the defect in any item covered by this warranty no later than 30 days after the defect on that item occurs.

ALL repairs and corrections, of any defect will be made by Shorten's Inc. unless authorized otherwise in writing by Shorten's Inc.
